Prizes

We have planned to award a total of 4 prizes:

  •   one each for each of the 3 sub-tasks and
  •   one more for the team which ranks overall best across all 3 sub-tasks

We encourage everyone to submit results to all 3 sub-challenges.

Please note that the top scorers will be awarded with prizes at EndoCV2020 workshop in Iowa, USA. Attendance is mandatory to receive your awards!

Joint journal paper

We will perform analysis of EAD2020. A joint-journal paper will then be compiled. Each participant who are willing to contribute to work in a joint paper in 2020 will have to follow below criteria:

1) You must have participated in the competition

2) You must release your codes online and have published in a workshop proceeding of the challenge (EAD2020)

3) You must show an active participation during writing. Like providing timely post analysis/answers to main organisers queries. We will not include the participants who are not responsive and do not provide us with out questions appropriately

Please note that we will already collect information for outstanding leaderboard participants this year and inform them about this. Each selected team will be allowed to provide no more than 2 names from their team. Organisers have the rights to remove any participant from this at any period of time. There will be of course valid reasoning if done so!

Organisers have all the rights to use any information provided in the leaderboard and CMT submission. Not all participants will be selected to perform further analysis for joint paper. Only participants with significant novelty in methods and significant participation will be included as final co-authors of the journal.
